The expowest Westcountry exhibition

Devon has always been a major holiday region; it is one of the biggest holiday destinations in the country, attracting over 5 million visitors each year. There are 65,000 bed spaces available in serviced accommodation, plus a further 35,000 pitches/beds/units within the self-catering sector. Devon's catering outlets include over 1000 pubs and inns and over 1500 restaurants/cafes. This important holiday region generates an annual spend from tourism in excess of £980mn offering enormous sales potential for suppliers and service providers.

The Tourism Region and the money it generates create high volumes of sales. The South West is the most popular destination for domestic visitors. It accounts for 16% of England's domestic tourist trips, 22% of nights and 25% of spending. In terms of visitors from overseas, the region accommodates 8% of trips to England, 6% of the nights and 5% of the spend.

The Westpoint Exhibition Centre in Exeter is the premier exhibition venue in Devon; with easy access from the M5 motorway, it makes it extremely popular with both exhibitors and visitors.
