We look forward to the 2010 expowest Exhibitions – when we will be celebrating 30 years of exhibition organising. We will, as ever, be pleased to welcome back those exhibitors who have stayed and prospered with expowest over many years, and to greet new exhibitors who wish to avail themselves of the excellent business opportunities provided at these events.
The longevity of expowest and the long-standing relationships held with regular exhibitors is due in no small part to the confidence and trust placed in us, and these elements are even more important to us during difficult economic circumstances, when nothing can be taken for granted, least of all our most loyal customers.
You will note that we are more widely embracing the Care and Health sector, in addition to our normal area of activity. This is a sector which, to a considerable extent crosses over our existing profile, and which is ever-growing. Incorporating those providers and hence, visitors, will add further valuable business opportunities within the expowest portfolio. The role of the regional exhibition should not be underestimated.
The areas in which our events are held are major areas of tourism, and the time of year is optimum in ensuring that our thousands of visitors are able to attend prior to the commencement of the season. Stand for stand, our visitor ratio exceeds many national/international exhibitions, and the human factor is of key importance in the areas in which our events are held.
Eye-to-eye contact, as well as actual tangibility of products and reliance of good service can do much to ensure a most loyal customer base. Whilst technology has its part to play, it can never be a substitute for the instinctive trust gleaned through sensible dialogue and a firm handshake, only an additional tool to build upon that relationship.
